So 15 minutes a day doesn't resonate. I related more to the list suggestion. As a coach myself, the biggest piece my clients didn't have in place was regular strategic planning time, where they looked at the whole picture and had a chance to reevaluate priorities. No surprise, I wasn't giving myself the same planning time either! So that's what I would do with 15 minutes a day. Creativity for me is as natural as breathing. So 15 minutes a day doesn’t resonate. Being creative allows for you to show your own individuality and personality, it also allows for originality, which I think is lacking so much in this day in age. I really like the idea of taking 15 minutes just to be creative and write at will on a daily basis. This I know will do me some just being that I haven't been doing much of anything creative lately, even in my own business. And I feel most of that has to do with fear....fear of what I feel others might say about what I've produced as a result of my creativity. Typically, I used this time to think about new avenues I should consider and I mentally prepare a “to do” list. I prioritize and settle down with my thoughts while driving over the mountain everyday. Although, I cannot write lists because I drive to work; I certainly can record any creative ideas that I in vision and perhaps will consider in the future. As I attempt to make productive progress forward with my business this New Year, my objective is to refresh my thinking and apply concepts that work. Of course, this will take work, am I willing to work, absolutely! My goal is to “reach for the moon and if I fail I will land amount the stars.” Les Brown. I love this idea! It puts form to the musings, a built in reward system, and a record of all those random thoughts that can turn out to be the ravings of a maniac day or a moment of pure brillaince when looked at from the perspective of time. It may sounds stupid, but I've always kept a "Chalkboard" folder on my laptop where I can write down business ideas or concepts that could be beneficial one day. A lof of these concepts I find out have been used before or may not exactly fit my business, but if nothing else, it's helped keep my mind loose over the years. I guess the question is since we are encouraged to exercise for 30 miuntes a day, what device can I creatively come up with to enable the safe use of a pen for half of that time?
